    Description

    For sale is a Black & Decker Thermal Leak Detector TLD100.  It requires one 9v battery to operate, and allows you to quickly check for cool or hot spots relative to a baseline temperature.  Simply point it at a neutral spot (often in the middle of a room), turn it on, and then point it at various spots along walls, ceilings, or floors to determine if there is a cool or hot spot due to poor insulation.  The TLD100 will project a green light where temperatures are close to neutral, a blue light when temperatures are below the neutral temperature, and a red light when temperatures are higher than the neutral spot.  The threshold is configurable with a switch on the device, allowing you to look for larger or smaller leaks as desired.
    This item has been used in the past but I no longer have need for it.  I tested with a 9v battery before listing, and it is behaving exactly as it should.
